Isiolo County Onboarded onto Ardhisasa as More Counties Embrace the Platform

ISIOLO, July 31, 2025
Isiolo County has officially joined the growing list of regions benefiting from the Ardhisasa platform, with Blocks 1–10 now live on the system. This marks a major milestone in the National Government’s digitization agenda aimed at transforming land management and enhancing service delivery across the country.
Speaking this morning during a meeting with Isiolo County land officers, Lands Secretary Sarah Maina urged county land officials and landowners to promptly register on the platform to enjoy easier, faster, and more transparent land transactions.
She emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the National and County Governments to support the digital platform - particularly in data sharing and citizen sensitization.

“There is a dire need for both levels of government to work together. Sharing data and supporting the Ardhisasa system is key to realizing its full benefits,” she added.
Ardhisasa, a homegrown digital land administration system, offers Kenyans a secure, efficient, and transparent way to access land services. Users can apply for searches, transfers, subdivisions, and many other land-related services entirely online.
The meeting was attended by key National and County land officers, including Senior Deputy Director of Surveys John Maina, Deputy Director National Land Information Management System (NLIMS) Moses Mugendi, Isiolo County Coordinator James Wachira, Isiolo Land Registrar John Wanjohi and In-Charge of Survey Bernard Ongechi, among others.

In a similar move last week, the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning onboarded Mombasa Island Blocks XVI and XVII onto the platform.
Marsabit and Baringo (Koibatek) Counties are next in line for onboarding.
The Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development continues to roll out Ardhisasa across counties in line with its mission to streamline land governance and address historical land injustices.
With Isiolo now onboard, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the platform’s user-friendly features and digitized services to minimize delays and lower the cost of doing business.
